But really the pattern I'm using is not from this book, and I'm nearsighted so I don't need glasses to read...but they do make me look studious don't they?
I am currently trying to finish these socks before the Olympics. They are from the above book. So it's not a total fake-out.

I love that sock book. I'm planning to make a pair of socks using one of the more advanced patterns from this book for my knitting olympics project. good luck with your project.
