Sew!

I took a little break to dye some yarn this weekend using the tutorial at Kathryn Ivy.

Easter Dyeing Yarn

But mostly I've been doing a lot of sewing.

I finished the last 3 months of Ten Make Two. I'm anxiously awaiting my blocks.

I have also been working on row10. I'm enjoying making my own blocks with no patterns. Here's my hedgehog. It started as a doodle one day at work, then a more structured picture. Before I couloured the picture, it passed the "what do you think this looks like" test with my husband.

I did a little math, and now a wonderful block. If I do say so myself.

I hope everyone else is having a great long weekend!

I'm ready for school to start again. Have to wait until Wednesday.
Have you seen my fabric I bought last week?

That hedgehog is too cute! I love the "what does this look like" test... there are a lot of things I've tried that don't pass that test. :)

I love it! Thank you so much! I know you had fun dyeing that yarn too- I had to put mine in the laundry room and clear the dining room table so I could get back to cooking dinner instead of dyeing yarn every day! I just bought some blank stuff to dye next week tho- so it will all come back out!
I can't wait to get all my rows and start quilting this- it's so fun to see what everyone does and it's really a treasure. Thanks so much, again and happy gnomie hedgie springtime!
